Project Details

2011 added 4″ of new MN Class 5 aggregate and stabilized with BASE ONE®.
Applied magnesium chloride to help reduce the dust.

2012 added 1.5″ Otta Seal/Chip Seal surface to complete the project.

The township saved approximately $276,000 by using the BASE ONE®
stabilized and Otta Seal/Chip Seal surface, compared to adding aggregate
base and bituminous surface.
